Commercial - $40

Must be a “Green” business, service or product and provide documentation in meeting a least four of the criteria below. Note: Normal price for commercial vending space at WAKEMED Peak Fest is $100 and is very limited.

Commercial Criteria:

  • Business or agency must be independently owned and operated, located within 50 miles of Apex.
  • Practices, promotes and has sustainability, energy, land and /or water conservation policies in operation.
  • Products are recyclable and/or contain a percentage of recycled materials, non-toxic or toxic reduced materials.
  • Products are made by renewable energy sources and/or participate in a third party renewable energy or carbon offset program.
  • Participating agency has a formal eco-preferred purchasing, administrative, waste, energy or toxicity reduction policies in operation.
  • Donates money, services and/or products to charitable or community organizations.
  • Vendor promotes sustainability in gardening, mulching, composting, etc.

Non-Profit / Government - FREE

Please include mission statement. Your mission statement may include all or some of the following environmental components:

  • Articulate your environmental mission and goals.
  • Emphasize continuous environmental improvement.
  • Promote reducing, reusing and recycling.
  • Commit to communication, education and interaction with the public.
  • Emphasize compliance with relevant environmental laws and regulations.

Vendor Space Information

Booth space is 10’X15, space permitting, vendors may purchase max of two booths side by side for
a larger display area. See vendor application for more details.

Craft vendor: $60
Crafts must be completely hand-crafted by the exhibitor; no kits or consignment merchandise.

Commercial: $100
Commercial information, including manufactured crafts, products and services.

Non-Food Vendor:
Electricity Fees (no generators permitted)
120 volts/20 amps, $20

Non-Profit/Fund Raising (Apex): $50
Local Apex groups fund raising, except food.

Non-Profit/Fund Raising: $60
Non-Apex groups fund raising, except food.

Non-Profit/Info (Apex): $40
Local Apex service groups or information.

Non-Profit/Info: $50

The first day that applications will be accepted is Monday, September 29, 2008 for Arts and Craft Vendors Only and Monday, October 27, 2008 for all other categories. Applications will be accepted on a mail-in or drop-off basis. If dropping applications off, you may do so at the Apex Community Center located at the intersection of Hunter Street and Laura Duncan Road. Community

The Festival Commission will accept only one vendor, on a first-come first-serve basis, representing products such as Avon, Longaberger Baskets, Creative Memories, Tupperware, Pampered Chef, etc. Note, the first day applications will be accepted for all categories, other than Arts & Crafts is Monday, October 27, 2008.

Vendors applying for a COMMERCIAL and NON-PROFIT space should note that these spots will be on a VERY LIMITED AVAILABILITY with preference going to Apex businesses. There will be no “Flea Market” type booths allowed this year. Photos and a detailed description of ALL items sold and booth layout are required.

Entry Confirmation: A vendor packet of festival information will be sent out approximately April 1st, 2009. The packet will contain information regarding, street layout, booth location, parking, directions, and other pertinent information.

Attention Accepted Vendors!

Food vendors make sure you obtain proper vending permits through Wake County http://www.wakegov.com/foodsafety/temporary.htm.  You will not be able to prepare or sell any food without proper permits.

We will be mailing you a packet containing booth assignments, setup instructions, maps, and rules and regulation a month or so before the event, in the meantime good luck on your final preparations.
